Horseback Riding Community Mission

Founded in 2003 by a group of passionate horse lovers, PTRA was built on a simple idea: Protect and improve the equestrian trails of the Pinckney Recreation Area for its community and trail enthusiasts passing through. We’ve grown into a nonprofit organization that not only maintains more than 11 miles of scenic trails but also brings equestrians together through rides, events and advocacy.
